Hi, I'm Claire

I am a person-centred counsellor who works with a humanistic approach. My therapy space offers both counselling and psychotherapy and sometimes a combination of both.

Counselling generally focuses on helping individuals address specific issues or challenges, such as coping with grief or managing stress, and tends to be shorter-term. Psychotherapy involves exploring deeper patterns of behaviour, thoughts, and feelings, often over a longer period of time, and can support personal growth and lasting change.

Proficiency

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with 1st Class Honours Degree in counselling and have completed 5 years of study in the field of counselling.

I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and adhere to their guidance for recording and storing personal information.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their policies and standards for the counselling and psychotherapy profession.

Prices

I offer a free initial 20-minute consultation over the telephone. This will give you an opportunity to have a chat with me and ask any questions you may have. You can then decide if I am the right therapist for you. The decision to start sessions will be entirely yours.

Each session costs £70 and lasts for 50 minutes. Longer or shorter sessions are available upon request. Session payments can be made via bank transfer.

Therapy sessions usually take place weekly at an arranged time. More frequent or less frequent sessions can also be arranged upon request.
